The Sanskrit name of the Solar Plexus Chakra, Manipura, means city of jewels, and it’s believed to be found between the ribcage and the navel. It's color is Yellow, and it is tied to the Fire Element.

If the solar plexus chakra is imbalanced, it is believed to cause feelings of depression and low self-esteem. the solar plexus chakra is the center of self-esteem and emotions like ego, anger, and aggression. It is thought to present itself on a physical level through digestive problems, liver problems, or diabetes. When it’s balanced, it would become a source of energy, productivity, and confidence.

THE MOON

A full moon and a new moon are especially powerful for cleansing and recharging your stones. You can place them outside or on a windowsill at these times. Even if it is a cloudy night, the moon's rays will still energize the stones.

MOTHER EARTH

Crystals come from the earth, so placing them directly into the earth will naturally cleanse all negative energies and re-energize them. I suggest you leave them for approximately 24 hours. If the crystals are set, or strung into jewelry, it is best to gently cover them with a cloth first, so that small bits of dirt don't get into the fastenings etc.
